Really got me thinking
I read Lesley’s book last year and it challenged me deeply. The account of her calling and early ministry, and her testimony of God’s faithfulness through the years, really got me thinking about my own walk with God and my understanding of his ability and desire to provide. It opened my eyes to the realities of life for boys on the street, even now in the 21st century, and strengthened my belief that Jesus is the only answer to addiction and neglect.

A great book…very readable
Have a Little Faith’ is a great book which encourages and challenges the reader to put faith into practice. It is very readable and reveals something of the heart of God manifest through His people. A personal account of how He can work in response to faith and obedience.

Highs and lows
“Have a Little Faith” is an incredible record of the highs and lows; the joys and sorrows of life amongst some of the most abused young boys in the Philippines. The book also rejoices in the successes as well as the heartfelt hurts and sadness’s of those who elect to go their own way.

God is everywhere
I found Lesley’s story of the beginning and continuing work of LAMA Ministries fascinating. It is a wonderful testimony to God’s guidance, provision and direction for those who seek to hear His voice and obey Him.
I was sorry when the book was finished but the exciting thing is that God continues to work His purposes out and continually, young boys and young men will experience Him and find new life and hope in Jesus as the LAMA team continue to serve God where they are.
May God continue to bless you all.
Here, in Brazil, our daughter Morven and her small team also experience God’s enabling and see Him at work, as they seek to share His Good News with children and young people in a nearby slum.
It is wonderful to know that God is EVERYWHERE and His resources are unlimited. Praise be to His Name.

Faith, courage and tenacity
HAVE A LITTLE FAITH “A compelling and inspiring book, following the challenging path to which Lesley was called to bring love and meaning to children surviving in great poverty. The reader is given a powerful and enduring impression of the incredible hardships suffered by some youngsters in the Philippines, but the resulting rewards, and there are many, are even greater. A portrait of great faith, courage and tenacity in the face of challenge, illness and disappointment, as well as moments of joy and delight, in all of which the reader meets some very special and memorable young people.”
